Majesty 400

Here is a close up shot of the Yamaha Majesty scooters' front end. I like the tight crop because most people would never guess it from a BMW or other larger displacement sport touring bikes. Got to give Yamaha credit on this scoot. It handles like a dream, is capable of over 100 mph (I have seen 107 indicated), has tons of lockable storage and still gets 55 miles per gallon. It will never replace my sport bikes, but this scoot is top notch when it comes to city communting and even relaxing cruises to your favorite destination. It truly is a joy to ride ... I call it my magic carpet because it feels like I am just floating along through the air.

Hello Valentio Rossi

Ready for MotoGP ... this pic taken the morning of July 1, 2005 just before mounting up for my historic journey from San Antonio, TX to Monterrey, CA. Four thousand eight hundred sixty-seven miles later I would have experienced some great and wonderful things ... including gettting in a picture while the master of all motorcycle racing, Valentino Rossi, was getting a ticket for riding in the wrong lane with a helmet-less passenger ... he was running late for morning practice where he later qualified second, just behind the eventual winner, Nicky Hayden. My trusty FZ1 (above) and I were even able to ride on the actual Laguna Seca race track. What a trip!
