Scoot vs Crotch Rocket
Horrible example of a crotch rocket, but its my blog and I am using it to show how cool the new big scoots look. BTW, the crotch rocket rider crashed later that day and got beat up pretty bad ... but lived to ride another day.

The Practical Truck
After having owned three pickup trucks I have determined that for my needs, trucks are overkill. I attached a hitch to my ZX5, which has plenty of low end torque, and purchased a motorcycle trailer. I was nervous at first about the extra weight of the trailer and motorcycle (+/- 900 lbs), but the hatchback handles it with ease. Climbing hills at speed required downshifting, but my trucks did that too. When I am done towing, I put the trailer away and I am back to 30 miles per gallon. Sweet!
